Need some today and LFS is out. Anything available at CVS or Home Depot that will work?

Yes. Just make sure you get the gel and not the liquid. Any of the basic ones are fine

$1 store super glue gel always works for me, and they come in a 3pack for $1

Okay cool, I've been 12 bucks for each tube of ice-gel.

Pretty much all of them are cyanoacrylate, which is inert when dry. It's also the same stuff used in the medical field as a skin adhesive, called Dermabond. That's why it glues your skin so well if you accidentally get some on yourself. You can literally glue your fingers together. I always wear gloves.

Yeah cyanoacrylate are all pretty much the same. I also use the dollar store gels. Big bottle seem to get clogged up for me so I prefer lots of little tubes (less waste)
