Need help with identity of a few pictures

Hello! Have a few thing going on in my biocube 29. Here is a picture of these
Tiny white things that are on my rocks now, I also noticed them on my protein skimmer too.... Also a few pictures to follow of some algae and need to know how to get rid of it... Tank is 5 months oldhttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/17/qytejy4y.jpg

the white things are beneficial filter feeders i think. they look like little snail/barnacle things right? your algae looks minimal.

It's hard to be sure - a close up would help, but they are probably sycoid (pineapple) sponges. They will come and go, but are good, harmless filter feeders.

If they are stationary they are most likely a type of feather duster. If you watch closely you might see it pop out. They will build a white tube starts out small and will get a bit bigger but not much. It will start to spiral too.

They are super tiny and kinda showed up out of nowhere? They are like tiny barnacles I scrapped a few off my protein skimmer when I fixed it
Last week.... The one spot of algae keeps getting bigger?? As you can see in the pic.... Also it seems like my tank is now starting to get cloudy.... Can't really tell in the pic...
