I have one yellowtail damsel in a 17g 24x12x14 tank with CUC and peppermint and I want one or two more fish. What can work with yellowtail damsel? Thanks

IMO nothing really for that size tank. The only possibility I would entertain is a goby like a yellow watchman. just my 2 cents

Its a small tank and an aggressive fish. Perhaps a bottom dweller would be ok if you have enough LR for it to build a home. But I would suggest just enjoying your damsel.....or getting rid of it.

Im going to try to catch him and replace with 3 peaceful fishes like royal gramma YWG or pair of clowns. What do you think?

I would wait til petco has their $1 gallon sale & get a new 55, for $55 if that's possible. A 17gl is really tight for anything practically.
