The Skunk clowns seem getting along well.
I just added 25 yellow tail blue damsels, they are getting along well so far, too.

Thanks Galkito, Darrenduds20, OrionN, and cuse1.

Darrenduds20, Haddoni is very hardy, I'm sure it will pull through.

OrionN, I hope the clowns will live happy together. Will see what happen after a year or two.

off topic, but really like the look of the blue damsels. should do well with such a large group...

Ron Popeil

if you get bored, you should replace those blue damsels with a mass of domino damsels....

OrionN

Those yellow tail blue damsels are among the most docile of all damsels. I love them in my reef tank.

Thanks Maddmaxx, Ron Popeil., and OrionN.
I was thinking about the domino damsels, too.
Let's see how this group turns out in a few months.
If they are survive, I will add the dominos.
Wish me luck.

What size tank is that and what lighting do you have for the anemone? Also, high flow or low flow?

msmith619,

Here you go:
Tank is about 150g 40"x36"x24" tall.
Lighting: two ATI SunPower (6 bulbs each)
Midium flow: tunze 6000 and a mini Tunze

I have a 125 (4x2x2) reef tank and want to add either a pair of true Perculas, Onyx, or Orange skunks. I have successfully kept BTA and LTA for several years. I moved and set up this new tank.

Livestock: 1 Rock Beauty, 1 Hippo tang, 2 Royal Gramas, 1 Yellowhead jawfish, 2 Pajama cardinals, 2 yellowtail damsels, 2 Talbot's damsels, 1 firefish, 1 cleaner wrasse. I know the angel and tang will get bigger but, I don't think it is overcrowded.

Lighting: Reefbreeders Photon 48 LED
Flow: 1200 GPH return pump from the sump, 2 Korella 1050 Powerheads, 2 Korella 425 nano powerheads.

It has a 4 inch deep sand bed.

Is the lighting and flow sufficient for one of the carpet anemones? If so, what kind could I expect to support successfully? I was thinking either several red BTAs or maybe one of the carpets if the tank has the right lighting and flow.

Here is the tank:

I don't want to buy one of the carpets if my system is not able to support it.

That setup we'll be adequate for either, gigantea or haddoni.

Yes your tank will work, just remember that they can spread out up to 24 inches. and pretty much what ever they touch will be toast.

msmith619

Cool! I think there are 2 nice front sandy spots to put two Haddoni anemones. I have to be careful though. The yellow-head jawfish home is that cluster of shells right below the Rock Beauty at the front of that rock. Don't want him to be anemone food!
