I'll be designing my walstad tank for a shoal of mosquito rasboras soon and I started wondering, are there miniscule saltwater fish that could be considered the equivalent of mosquito rasboras.

However hard they are to keep, I'm not interested in setting up anything for them, I'm just curious.

There aren't many shoaling fish to chose from. There are blue chromis and threadfin cardinalfish, but a shoal of them would not fit in most nanos. You could maybe put 5 in a 20g and another fish or two.

I wasn't thinking necessarily shoaling fish, just really small ones.

There must logically be in the sea, I just wondered if they're ever collected and if anyone has kept them
