Just wondering if I have enough flow for my 90 gallon tank. I am wanting to add sps eventually as I am updating my lighting to accommodate them to led's.
I have two vortech mp10's maxing out at 100% through all the different settings (hooked up through my apex) and then two other pumps that do 530 gph. so grand total of roughly 4,060. is that enough or should I consider upgrading to MP40's or even mp60's? (i do have a reoccurring problem with cyno, which I know can be caused by not enough flow)

I think you'll be ok. My LFS tanks are at a standstill, yet some of the sps corals he has are thriving. If you want to spend the money and upgrade go for it, but I would at least make sure the pumps you already have won't work first. Give them a little time. GL.

+1 with cloak. 40 times your volume is good enough for most SPS...

IMO, go with the MP40s.

I was in the same dilema last year when upgrading to my 125gal. I thought with the flow from my Mag18 return and with (2) MP10's, I would have enough flow (and by turnover rate math, I did). I bought the MP10's but promptly returned them for (2)MP40s.

IM SO GLAD I DID! Buying the next level gives you flexability for future tank upgrades AND gives you the full capabilities of the built-in Vortech modes. MP10s are rated for 5-50gallons, while MP40s are from 50-500gallons.

Low/Variable flow modes (I.e. Lagoon, Reef crest, Nutrient Trans) flow rates for MP10s are considerably lower than MP40s. You have to run MP10's at 100% to get the best effect, whereas the MP40s you can switch it up from 10-100% and still get ample flow rates.

My two cents... but go with MP40s~!
