I spoke with Hydor at the RAP show and they stated that they are no longer carrying Aquatronica

Their website is still up and so if their FB page. What makes people think they are out of business?

Their equipment can still be bought on Amazon too.

Because the major reef supply store don't have their product anymore. What sales on amazon , leftover. Web site working but I believe for customers in Europe. And the final ? Why nobody from Aquatronica on the forum. Because they don't have nothing to say to they potential customers. Just too much promises about new controler release date. Too bad for Aquatronica.

They are in the process of getting a new dealer. I had talked to Hydor months ago and hey had a amicable parting of the ways. "Will" was too small for Aquatronica and I think Hydor was just a little too big. Controllers don't sell as fast as other aquarium equipment because some people don't feel a need for them and Hydor I think was concentrating on very fast moving merchandise

Does anyone have any real insight into what's happening with Aquatronica as a viable company? I have a lot of equipment that's been in storage for a couple years and plan to hook it up again soon. Given the pricey nature of Aquatronica controllers/parts, I would not be too happy spending $$$ on a platform that will not be around for much longer. :-(

If I havent invest so much into aquatronica...I would have drop them already.

Yes it's a great platform but the extremely slow pace of new product releases and apparent lack of support is a killer.
It appears Apex seems to be the popular choice these days. I don't suppose there is much demand for Aquatronica on the used market if I jump ship. :-(
