I have a small 30 gallon Deep Blue frag tank (24 x 24 x 12) that over the past year has been operating with only flow from pumps in the tank and water changes every other week.

See here: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2221102&page=3

I have decided that to utilize the power of proper skimming and sump support, I am going to plump the tank directly into the 250 gallon system running just a few feet away.

I am looking for the least visible way to draw water out and pump water back into the tank. Ideally I would plumb a single hole through the bottom of the tank and figure out a way to achieve water in and out, but haven't really thought through it enough. If need be I will do two smaller pipes and put rock around them. Before doing too much, I wanted to reach out and get different opinions.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts and ideas.
