flow question

Just got my first fish, (firefish). Put him in the QT tank, and saw him getting swept around by the current. I have 2 powerheads in a 10g tank. One Fluval 425 gph and a Hydor 240. Do i have too much current for this tank/fish?

Do you have any decorations or anything for him to hide in? That seems like a lot of flow for a qt tank. I would try removing a powerhead and dropping in a piece of PVC or something for him to hide in or behind

I have a piece of pvc in the tank...i just turned off the Hydor 240...

Just use the 240, that will be plenty of flow for a fish only QT.

You could even get a "Y" valve to spread you flow if it's still an issue.
