Protein Skimmer?

Hi RC Friends,

I am currently running a 30 gallon JBJ Rimless All in One Nano Cube with a protein skimmer that the LFS I started my tank with sold me. I know the skimmer works because I clean the cup every time I do a water change.

However, I feel like the skimmer is inefficient? I'm not to sure how to explain my uncertainty. I just feel like it is not performing optimally for my tank.

Do you guys have any suggestions on a new skimmer I can look into for a 30 gallon setup?

What size is the sump area? I used a Tunze DOC 9002 in a 28 gallon tank and it worked well and was very quiet. It has a fairly small footprint.

these are the specs for the tank. im not sure what the specific sump specs are. but im a little confused because all these models have dual powerheads.. and mine only has one.
