Is my QT large enough?

I am setting up a QT and was wondering if a 20g is large enough. the largest fish i plan on putting in it is is a 3-5 inch blue hippo tang

I would use the 20 gal but would get a smaller hippo. A 20 gallon QT is much better than no QT or a 10gal one.

The qt size depends on the fish mainly. since the hippo gets 1 foot in length... I would up it more..alot more...

i bought a 29 gal long today to be the qt. the owner of my LFS said it would suffice and that even a twenty would be fine. thanks guys!

A 5" hippo will be mega stressed in a 29g tank lol. 3" or under would be ok for just a QT period and most other small fish would be fine in the 29g also.
