I've been reading as much as I can the last 2 works or so, and I decieded to go with the Reefbreeders Photon 32, however, I was researching through some of the semi-local fish stores out here in western Washington, and stumbled across a store that carries the EverGrow Controllable IT2080 (states it is custome tuned by the store) in store and from what I understand they are the exact same fixture. The color layouts between the 2 are pretty different and I can't seem to wrap my head around all the different types of LEDs...

1st layout:
channel 1; 22 4500K neutral whites, 10 480nm blues,
 4 660nm reds, and 12 410-420nm violets. Channel 2; 48 450nm royal blue, Channel 3; 3 480nm blue moonlights

2nd layout (doesnt give channel breakdown):
28- 12K White, 4- 6500K White, 6-420nm Purple, 46- 450nm Royal Blue, 4- 480nm Blue, 4- 520nm Green, and 4- 660nm Deep Red LEDs (+3 480nm moonlights)

Basically I'm just trying to understand if there is a real difference in the layouts to help me figure out if I should order online and have to wait for shipping or just drive the hour and a half to pick up the other one.

This will be going over a 46 bowfront tank, currently no coral until I get good enough lighting, but would like to slowly add in a good variety once lights are in place.

Layout 1 is far better.

After ordering my first evergrow d120 over a year ago, I would say go with layout #1 as it is close to the 3 to 1 color temp. Blue to white which will allow you to use both channels at near 100% without being too white which my original layout was. Also layout #1 has more 420's which seems to be a plus. That's just my 2 cents as I just replaced several of my white leds on my d120 to make my white channel more usefull as too much white seemed to be disliked by my corals ie bleached
