I'm planning to use the BRS dual reactor for GFO only. Any problem for that purpose? Any one out there using it?

Lots of people seem to use that product successfully. It's fine for GFO only.

Why no carbon might I ask

Carbon isn't necessary, though it is helpful for some things. There also appears to be a correlation (though I don't think causation has been established) between carbon fines and HLLE in tangs.

I was a bit curious about the reason for using the dual and not just a single or the jumbo?
Thanks

I guess it's to separate both and I maximize usage.

Problem with dual reactors is you cannot control the flow between each, example GFO uses little flow to tumble
I ended up going with this, you can control each side of the reactor :

I bought a dual for GFO and Carbon. The Non harden Gfo would clog my carbon 2 times a week. I now put the carbon in a bag and let water flow through it. The second canister now has cotton filler and the filters that came with the reactor. The output goes through a cyliner filled with cotton filler and a small filter pad. I clean the cylinder once a day and the 2nd canister every 10 days. I still have to unclog the GFO in the first canister. I trap as much dust as possible. Water going trough the dust will trap PO4 for a while i'm guessing Next time I will invest in the hard GFO. Volka dosing over the last year has definitly helped with my PO4 .
