Not new by any means. Not even 150 years new:
Halichoeres timorensis (Bleeker, 1852)
:) :p

I have a pair I've kept for 3 years or so.

I meant in the hobby, Hunter. Then I saw you have some.

No online stores list them (not in first ten Google pages anyway). Bluezoo has a dead page. DD has current listing.

Gorgeous fish. Have you noticed it helping vs pests? As in Iridis with MEN or Cosmetus with AEFW?

They're very infrequent in the trade. Not new, just not collected with any regularity.

I'm yet to see a Halichoeres species that isn't an active hunter. :)

My Lfs has one in their display. They brought in three batches of them within the last year. I liked them but not enough to buy one.

My LFS has one for sale. $100. I said no thanks. Gorgeous though
