At present have a couple of Angelfish in QT. In my main tank I have an emperor about (5inches) a scribble(7 inches). The scribble is not a problem but the Emperor is very aggressive. It chases and hazes the scribble. When the regal and personifiers are done with their QT protocol. What would be the best way to introduce them? I was planning of bringing them all in at same time. I was also thinking of changing some rock work prior.

Any suggestions?

If you can pull everyone out & add the regal 1st, scribble 2nd, meridithi 3rd, & emp 4th over the course of a week or 2? Your regal is going to need the most time to get situated, me thinks. maybe create a space that the regal can call it's own before anyone else gets in? Forgot how large your DT is?

Great Idea but not sure I can catch them. DT is 300 gal and it is a deep tank

You can also custom order a breeder box from elite aquatics that is bigger than the standard size. I have the regular one for wrasses, but I think it will be too small for your angels.

Thanks Lawrence. It is a great idea to catch and reintroduce. Only issue is where do I put the fish for one week. I also like Mike&Nicole's idea of creating a breeder box.

very helpful
Thanks

Just giving you a heads up, if you don't remove the emperor and add the regal and then reintroduce the emperor, your chance of the regal surviving is slim. Even if the regal is eating in QT, the second he is around an aggressive emperor, he will most likely stop eating and hide. I would do what ever you can to catch the emperor, add the regal and then about a week to two weeks later reintroduce the emperor.

What ever you chose to do, good luck with it, they are all great fish

Thanks I will definitely try to catch emperor
The scribble is so passive I really don't think it will bother anything

What's up with the Sohal? Where does he fit in with the group? You still have it?

When I re-introduced my Coral Beauty Angelfish back to the tank from a 30 day QT (she was previously being a bully) I introduced her at night after the lights were out at the same time as my yellow tang. No problems.

Isolation/Acclimation/Breeder boxes are your friend in these scenarios. Make sure to keep some rock or PVC in there so they have a place to hide and feel safe.

Make one out of egg crate, or spend a lot of money and get one custom built

Elite aquatics is custom building one for huma so I have to assume they will build you one as well. With all those fish coming in, I would want a big one to have on hand.
