I started up a nano, IM Nuvo 16g, about four weeks ago. I have upgraded the pump to a Sicce Silent 1.5, inTank media baskets, a AI Nano and a Tunze 6015.
I purchased the Tunze 6015 because the ONLY way I can keep the flared return nozzles from sucking air from the surface and creating microbubbles is to point them as straight down as possible. This leaves me with little surface agitation.
The Sicce pump pushes about 350gph and this tank holds about 11g of water when running. This should be enough flow for what's planned in the tank(LPS and Ric's).
The pieces are not Loc-Line. I'd like to remove the Tunze.

Is there anyway to get solve the surface air pull issue without adding a sponge to the flare tips??
