Hi All,
Its another what should I get thread. I have a 40B with a 20L sump with fuge and skimmer.

Current stocking list is:
1 True Perc
1 Springeri Dottyback
1 Yellow Corris
1 lawnmower Blenny
1 Coral Banded Shrimp
misc turbo, nassarius, astraea snails
1 Halloween Hermit
1 Abalone

I am open to any suggestions.

Thanks!

Hmph, possibly a flame angel. That would add some red/orange color into your mix.

Flameback would probably be better suited then a flame angel for size of the tank

I am a little hesitant about angels and how the are in a reef tank. I hear so many mixed experiences.

Ray. Are they more coral friendly?

I am not sure about coral friendly as mine is in a FOWLR

here is a good thread about different angels and what they like to nip

I understand your concerns as well with angels. I pretty much avoid them completely.

If that is the case, I would recommend getting some chromis or cardinals species for your tank.

My recommendation would be a purple firefish there great little fish who has wonderful color and wont break the bank

Yellowtail damsel and a flasher wrasse of some sort.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I do like the purple firefish. I had one earlier that I lost in a tank crash.

Yup, I have one in my 40B. Hasn't bothered any of my corals. It's a very active swimmer with nice vibrant colors.

Sugar,
Good to know. Thanks!

Sun,
Hesitant. I have had my clown for 7 years now. Not sure how she would take to a new "Mate"
