This is going to be my growth thread to see how my tank grows every month or two

A little about my tank is its a 24 nanocube with a 150 watt metal halide it has one clown fish cause he kills everyone else I put in there with him

This is also a challenge from my wife in 2 weeks im not allowed to put my hands in the tank for 2 whole months since she says thats why everything has been taking longer to grow

Depending what you're doing in there your wife may be onto something lol does that tank get hot with the halides?

No I havent had any heat issues with it maybe 1 degrees swing but I have a vent right above the tank and the wife likes it cool so it all works out

so about two months have passed and im going to put a picture of what it is now the growth is pretty crazy

Thanks and for filtration not much really in the first chamber I have poly fill and a sponge second chber a bag of carbon and third heater and return pump the live rock does a lot of it I have some algae right now but am waiting for my order to get in on a cuc

Sounds like a pretty simple setup you got goin on for such a nice tank. How many lbs of live rock would you say you got?

I would have to say about 35lbs around about maybe a little more. Also I just saw im actually originally from ohio grew up in Cincinnati suburbs

Oh dang so you have more then enough live rock lol. Thats always good though i think. Cant have to much natural filtration. Really im in cuyahoga falls, akron area.
