I got about 50lbs of LR that has been outside. while I'm building my tank. can I not be seeding or curing or something. to save time later?

Yes, you can place it into a Rubbermaid tote of a 5 gallon buckets with powerhead and heater to cycle. I did that about 2 months before I got my 40 breeder up and running.
