I found some red bugs, should I nuke the system with Sentinel or just let them be?

+1k, with a name like "thecoralfarmer" it is probably best to eradicate.

I guess so I just hate all the collateral damage nuking the system causes

Red bugs are way too easy to treat. Nuke them all.

I had a dragon faced pipefish that ate them. The pipe eventually died but I haven't seen a single red bug since.

Search on here for red bug treatments, don't dose something that you don't know its effects.

Killing them is really easy. Everything will recover in a few months and your corals will look soo much better. Its worth the die off for sure.

If you haven't already tried Bayer dipping, I highly recommend it. I have used it on many, many types of coral and have never had issue with it. It is cheap enough, you could dip whole large loads at a time. I will dip with something meant for coral...and see some critters die...and then add the Bayer and TONS of stuff floats off dead. It is impressive and seems totally safe. I have used it for a good while now and like it a lot. It's all I use for critter eradication now.
