i see mixed reviews at like 50/50 for jbj. that is not enough to convince me. ive never used one before and would like the piece of mind. i dont mind paying for quality. does anyone have any suggestions/experience with other companies?

appreciated :)

The single stage is fine RANCO ETC-111000 as long as you dont exceed the max wattage with your heater(s). The dual one Ranco ETC-211000 would give you more options in the future.

ok, i see. would the dual model work in a sense i could use one controller for two seperate systems? i do not use a cooler. i jus run one heater.

The dual could control a chiller or a fan.....

I know rancos are great but once you get a that price you might as well start come playing a controller IMO
