Does anyone use the Midiflotor skimmer?
I would like to know about its relative performance compared to other well known skimmer out there. Must be someone here who uses this skimmer?
This skimmer came with my aquamedic tank and I am wondering whether its good enough for a reef setup. The manufacturer says the skimmer is rated for up to 400L. My tank is about 200L.

Reason I am asking is that I doubt the performance since is airdriven via a wooden airstone.

Thanks for any input.

I don't use that particular model, though I have a berlin airlifter on my mini-reef. It uses an airstone and works really well. I will put my air lifter against some venturis any time. Just make sure you have a good air pump to run it.
