I have a pair of swallowtail angels in my system now. Could I introduce a female bellus to the tank without aggression?

IME,female Genicanthus seem to be more aggressive with each other in comparison to the typical aggression seen between male/female pairs. It can be done, just expect some aggression from the female swallowtail. An acclimation box will work wonders if you intend to introduce the female bellus. Good luck...

I have a swallowtail and female bellus in my 180 with no issues at all. They have been together for about 3 years now.

+1 ... I've had 4 diff. types of Genicanthus angels together in my 450g DT , without problems, except... The largest male may make other males revert back to females

Great, thanks for the advice. I use an acclimation box for all new additions. It's always nice to see problems before it's impossible to remove the fish from the display :)
