Hi Russ,

Could you help me out with a few questions?

I have a BRS 5-stage chloramines plus unit. PSI is low again and I want to buy a booster pump. Is BFS-5006 the right product for me? I'm not sure whether I use 1/4 or 3/8 fittings (BRS doesn't specify on their website either).

Also, I like the look of your new chloramines block. I'll pick up one also.

Do I need to buy anything other than BFS-5006 and the chloramines block?

EDIT: Also, I recently sent a water sample to a testing company. They found that I have high silica levels (0.7 mg/L) and high Molybdenum levels (0.2 mg/L). I'm mostly concerned about the silica. My TDS meter shows 0 TDS coming out of the DI stage. Do I need a special DI resin to remove silica?

Is your PSI low due to clogged prefilters, or do you just have low water pressure?

The BFS5006 is probably what you need - if you have a chance can you call in? Let's make sure you get exactly (and only) what you need.

Your RO membrane should take care of the silica well.
