Hello,

I've got compatibility questions on two fish. Tank is a 300 gallon, 72" x 36" x 27". About 250 to 300 pounds of extremely porous rock, loaded with holes of all shapes and sizes. Wondering if these fish will get along with the ones listed.

First one is a mystery wrasse with other fairy and flasher wrasses.

Second is a golden midas blenny with a black midas and or black combtooth blenny.

The mystery and midas would be the last fish in the tank.

Thanks

It will be hit or miss. I would probably choose one of the blennies but the mystery tend to be aggressive. It will probably be ok though as long as you add it last and add it small. If it gets aggressive as it matures you might have to go fishing.

Thanks. I've seen plenty of people ask about the mysteries, but always in smaller tanks.

Would your concern with the blennies be the aggression of the midas with each other, or would they be likely to harass all blennies even in a large tank?

I personally haven't had luck with multiples, I know some who have but I prefer a well stocked tank where the fish get along. It is more enjoyable when they aren't hiding.

Thanks. I'll pick one.
