Pump was noticeably weaker as of late so gave it a soak in vinegar/water overnight. Just cleaned it and it's back to it's former glory. Rockin and rollin again.

How do you take it apart to clean the propeller? I don't want to break any clips or anything.

I've had it about 3 months or so. I googled for disassembly, so you just hold the back firmly and rotate the front counter clockwise.

They start slowing down noticably after one month. It takes about 3 minutes to jerk it out take it apart and clean it. I have it on my montly maintanance cycle now (along with cleaning the sump and replacing carbon/gfo)

I just cleaned mine for the first time after about 4 months. Holy crap I forgot how strong that pump is.
