i know they have had a few issues - mine is perfectly clean and spins great but its popping my gfi after running for a minute or two - all electronics are clean and no corrosion - that i can see any ideas?

Have you taken the pump apart? My 1400 tripped the GFCI and when I took the core out it had corroded through the housing. I'd look to switch it out to something else. They never solved the issues they had with the entire line.

i did take it apart and there is no corrosion anywehre or anything that even looks bad - replacing a 300$ pump wont make me happy as i had issues with the 1450 they sold also -
