I've got a adult male that won't eat anything but frozen mysis. I've tried flakes with garlic in them and NLS small pellets. What have you had luck with? I don't want to go out and buy a bunch of different foods and get stuck with them when he doesn't eat it. I was thinking of adding one of two females, would that possibly help?

If you have other fish that are aggressive eaters, that helps a lot. It may take time for the pink square to get bold, but once he does he will eat anything you put in the tank.
I had a pink square that would wait by the feeding station when my auto feeder would feed new life pellets.
It also helps if you feed at the same time of the day and add the food in the same spot.

He's very bold! He sticks his whole head out of the water when he sees me with the food, he's a freaking pig and that's why I want to get him on dry food so I can feed him multiple times a day like he needs, I don't always have time for frozen. Last night he tried to knock the feeding cup out of my hand lol. When I try flakes he'll grab one or two quickly but then as soon as he realizes it's not mysis he stops

Take a small pinch of the flakes or pellets and let it soak in a cup containing thawed mysis shrimp. Let it soak for about 10mins. You can add garlic enticement to the cup as well while it soaks. Feed it to the tank. If it eats one then great. If not, keep trying this every time you feed until eventually it eats the pellets. Now that he is eating, you will have to add a little more pellets and less mysis shrimp as weeks progress till eventually you are feeding solely pellets.
This is what i did yo get my Sunburst to eat pellets. I have other anthias as well but I didnt worry. I fed a mix of mysis, fish eggs(roe from Asian market), cyclops, and NLS pellets.

Ya I tried that but he completely ignored the pellets, but I've only tried a few random times, guess I should stay consistent with it and see if it works.
