Hi Guys,

I'm new to all this so I hope I'm posting this thread in the correct place.

I've just upgraded my lights from an ATI sunpower module to a GHL 6100 hv.

I'm finding it difficult to get hold of info regarding acclimatising my corals to these lights. If anyone has used one of these before could you give me some help.

IS there a rough guide to how bright I can take these lights before my corals bleach? If so what percentage increments should I go up in each week.

I've tried having a go at the light simulator and wondered whether anyone could upload one or two of their own personal projects so I can play around with. Are there certain light temperatures that I need to hit each day to get accelerated coral growth.

Any help or if you could point me in the right direction I would be very greatful.

Thanks

slief

I would suggest reading this thread. There is a ton of great info on setting up and running the Mitra's.
