Anyone have success with a submersible led for converting a rear chamber of a jbj to a refugium. I posted this in the DIY forums and got suggesting for a light from mediabasket and a jbj light (not submersible). Anyone have success with these or other lights?

I use the 4 light jbj light that goes on the outside of the tank and shines through into the back chamber. It grows chaeto like crazy and works awesome.

I have it laying sideways on the back of the tank with the magnet that holds it inside the skimmer chamber so that the media basket still fits. I use the intank media basket as well.

unfortunately the back of my tank is black plastic.

It doesn't have the clear glass section in the middle? Which jbj tank is it?

I am planning on using the little submersible single LED in the back of my bc29 when I change it over to the in tank media basket and fuge. The back of the BC is painted black, so no having to scrape paint. Hoping the simple solution works!

it is usually just black vinyl not paint and can easily be cut/peeled off.

I have the 24 gal JBJ and bought the mediabasket.com submersible LED but am not sure this is strong enough or physically big enough.
