View Full Version : Does it matter which way I mount my Radions?

I have two xr30w Radions that I'm building a bracket for to mount over my 120. In terms of light spread and effectiveness does it matter which way I mount them?(long side left to right vs front to back) I've seen them done both ways and I'm just wondering if there's a reason or if it's just how people like the fixtures to look. Thanks

I'm curious about this too as I'm building a 120 and plan on purchasing 2 Radions also.

Front to back gives more spread and all sides in cube tanks or tanks with wide dimensions especially if you only have two fixtures. People whom normally go from side to side usually have rectangular tanks and side to side spreads it out evenly that way.
