I bought a peppermint shrimp to clear out the aiptasia, which he has done, but now when I spot feed the corals, he steals all their food.
I feed him first, but he just never seems to get full, or stop eating.
Now I have to catch the bugger and do something with him.

I've used strawberry containers to feed corals/nems for this very reason in the past

My amboinensis does the same!!! :-D
They're natural born thieves!
I usually keep watch, I feed pelts to my corals with a pvc rod and use it to chasse the shrimps away with until the.corals finish eating

Wow, I never see any of my peppermints so i almost wish they would do this. I always assume they are long gone and then a month or two later i catch a glimpse of one deep in the rock.

Do you have a refugium? If so put him in there.

Mine will hop on my finger when I put my hand near them in the tank.

Good idea, do they eat pods?

If you have a big enough pod population I personally wouldn't think it would be a problem.

My cleaner shrimp love to steal food....I stand watch with my turkey baster and fend them off or distract them by offering my hand to clean if they're being extra persistent. I swear my shrimp are so OCD they would rather pick at my skin than eat....

I also rarely see my peppermint shrimp, once every few months, i see it early in the a.m. before i leave for work, i shine a flash light in to do a quick inspection.
