Hey everyone,
I am looking to add a wrasse to my QT next, and am seeking a bit of information. Can more than one wrasse be kept without issue in a mixed reef?
Ideally I would like to keep two in my 180 to add a bit more color and activity. Any recommendations on specific types that may work well with one another?

Here's some reading for your question. I dedicated this thread to the 2 Lubbock fairy wrasses I keep in my tank. They live with yet other 3 wrasses.

Hopefully it gives you some inspiration.

I keep a dusky and a timor wrasse. Very little aggression.

My favorite wrasse is the melanurus wrasse.

I have two terminal male McCosker's flasher wrasses in my 72 (an oopsie from the company that shipped them - one was supposed to be a female). I love flashers, but if you go that route, definitely make sure that you don't mix males of the same species - just get a male from one flasher wrasse species and a second male from a DIFFERENT flasher wrasse species. My two have reached a truce, but are still a PITA to each other. Perfect gentlemen to the other fish in the tank though. One of them likes to pal around with the clownfish; mama clownfish seems to like him more than her actual mate!

I love fairy and flasher wrasses and they can coexist with little to no aggression especially in a 180 and they don't need sand. Get the male a mate to intensify his colors!

I have a clown fairy, red flasher and a Mckoskers no troubles.
