I am in the process of ordering a Marineland 300 DD tank to display in our 1st floor family room. I already own a 150 gallon Marineland tank that I want to display in our rec room in the basement. I also have just started a fishroom in the basement. I was wondering if it is a good idea to use one sump/fuge for both tanks or if I should use a separate sump/fuge for each tank. What are the advantages and disadvantages. If I can use one sump how would I hook up the plumbing. Confused.
Also any ideas on what would be the best way to have the tank drilled. Should I have the return pump holes drilled.
