How long do you run moonlights???

I'm just wondering how long people run moonlight LEDs? I just got a new Photon 48 and really wasn't sure how long to run the moonlights before/after the regular light pattern begins?

Right now I have the moonlights start up a couple of hours before and then run about an hour after. No idea if this is good, bad, or really insignificant?

My photo period is from noon to midnight, and my moonlights come on from midnight to noon.

I run mine for two hours after the rest of the lights go out. They are really just for my viewing pleasure, so after that, it is complete darkness for the tank.

I run my all night too on the Hydra, blues are only at 3 & UV at 1

I set my Hydra and Nano to have moonlights all night and then activated the lunar cycle so every now and then there are no moonlights and at other times they are very bright moonlights. Essentially like going from no moon to full moon and back.

I run my moonlights after main lights go off (8:30 pm) until 2 am, then the moonlights go off till 5 am and turns on at 5am till the main lights go on (7:45)

Is there a problem with just having the lunar cycle on from ramp down to ramp up mid morning? I think the presets have the DB just at 5%
