hey guys, I was hoping to get a little bit of clarity on which light I should get for my LPS and soon to be SPS 10 gallon reef tank. The first option is a 150 watt halide with 2 14 watt t5 actinics that is about $115. I know for sure that the output would be enough to grow SPS, but would it be worth not being able to afford a sump? the other option meanwhile is a 72 watt quad t5 unit that I'm not sure if it will be able to grow SPS. with the t5s I would be able to afford a sump. I don't know if getting the light is worth sacrificing a sump and vise versa. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated, and thanks in advance :twitch::bounce2::bounce1:

With a 10 gallon tank, you don't really need a sump to begin with. KISS. I would go with the MH.

either would work, just be careful about temperate the mh will heat it up more, not an issue if its a pendant style light and you can run a fan across the top. i would go with the mh as long as you have a plan for the heat.
