Toadstools are all funky looking after moving the powerhead. This look like normal behavior? They are usually nice and full looking. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/25/enyjuvyn.jpg

they can be very picky IME, and yes they can close up for days when shedding or their enviroment changes such as water flow being diffrent.

I've had the same experience with toadstools and other leathers. Let them adjust to the new flow (as long as they aren't being blasted) and they should be fine.

I wouldn't call leathers picky. More of heavily prone to tantrums. They can be blasted with a powerhead, or in low flow, and be perfectly happy. As long as the environment is consistent, they don't really seem to care what exactly it is. But if you change that flow pattern, then they tend to sulk for a short time (sometimes days). Once they are done tantruming over the change (often after a shedding), they usually just accept the change and go back to normal.

The good thing about that type of toadstool is that they adapt very well. Once they are done sulking, they just grow until they are happy again with the environment. They can use that growth to change direction or even move a small distance.
