I have 20 gal sump that came with the 120 gal tank. This sump is divided into three sections each almost identical in size. Water flows from right to left travelling under then over the dividers between each chamber. Overflow from the main tank enters the right chamber and is returned from the pump located in the left chamber.
I am using a jebo 520 skimmer and because of the heat here in lombok maintain water temp using a resin cl650 refrigerator. I would like to set up a refugium and given the flow of water is from the base of each chamber the only option I have is to set this up in the left chamber where the return pump is located.

Can someone provide me some advice please?

Thanks G

I would modify the baffles by adding a blank-off plate to allow the center chamber to be the refugium. +1, a picture would help.

I'd buy a 40G breeder and start over!

Bit the bullet yesterday and made some changes. Initially I had media in the right chamber but ditched this and relocated my PS here. I added an additional acrylic baffle in the middle chamber to allow flow from the top rather than the bottom and will use this as the fuge. Return on the left. Some tidying up of cables to do today.

Capacity is undersized but it's what I have at present so will try and maximise benefits.

Thanks all for the feedback G
