I'm at my wits end with this tank. 29 gallon BioCube. Phos .08 mag/ 1440 cal/ 450 alk/ 8
I can't get my phosphates down. I even put in a GFO reactor and I can't get it down. I keep on getting this brown build up on my rocks and I have been doing water changes once a week. I'm at a loss some of my corals have died and others just don't look the same. Some help would be great.

what are you growing in your tank? I do not think softies, zoa and lps care if phosphate is at .08.
I do no think phosphate is killing corals. and phosphate level at .08 is not very bad at all.
Do you have enough flow? check your light making sure they are not very old. If you are running GFO and still getting phosphate then check with your fish food, top off water.., light, flow...skimmer...etc. But overal, phosphate at .08 is not too bad
I do not think weekly water change is very wise. (imo). I do once a month about 5% and i have mostly sps

Increase flow, less feeding, more water change.. And perhaps your rocks are still leaching phosphate. Perhaps upgrade your skimmer. What fish do you have? How's your bioload? More info would be great!

This January will be two years up and running. I have a mix of corals from hammers to soft corals. I have 4 fish and two shrimp. I have been limiting the feeding. Could it be the salt I used tropic Marin when I started and now I use Red Sea coral pro? I'm thinking to switch back to tropic Marin.

If your lights are as old are your setup then you might need to get new bulbs. If you have LEDs then ignore my post. Older bulbs enhance algae growth. Hope this helps.
BTW: With your corals, 0.08 Phosphates is not bad at all.
