Have a FOWLR in my classroom and want to try a few corals. What are the most bullet proof beginner corals?

Jaebo wp-25
60lbs live rock, 50ish sand.

Green star polyp, colt, mushrooms, Kenya tree, brown button polyps, zoanthids.

I have had good luck with Colts, yellow polyps. Leathers are supposed to be hardy. Zoanthids are also a good choice, green star polyps are pretty but invasive.

Some would say Xenia, but they can be hit or miss. Mine sporadically melted one day

mushrooms are about as easy as they come and cheap

Maroon is far too big for that tank, very aggressive. Advise exchanging it for a percula.
For corals, if you have T5 lighting and an autotopoff system, you can do some stonies, but the easiest corals for a start are the softies: mushrooms, if happy, will take over all your live rock and cannot be removed, so be sure that's what you want. It's why I prefer stonies: they don't take over your structural rock.

I started off with kenya tree, green rocrodea, xenia and a toadstool leather. just added a mushroom and zoanthid frags and they all seem happy. just note that it may take a couple of days for them to open after you get them
