Will this be too much flow on a 120g? I will be keeping mostly softies and some lps.
Hydor Koralia Evolution Powerhead (1500 GPH)
Hydor Koralia Evolution Powerhead (850 GPH)
The two big ones will be in the top corners facing front glass to the middle while the smaller ones will be in the bottom corners facing up and to the middle.
Thanks!

How many of each one?
It's kind of hard to have too much flow in most situations. It would be best however, to have as random of a flow pattern as possible. I used two Koralia 425's and an 850 I believe in a 29 gallon tank. It still wasn't enough and I was having detritus buildup. I have since switched to a WP-25 and the difference is night and day.
If you haven't purchased the powerheads yet I would recommend looking at the Jebao WP-40 and Wp-25. I think the WP-60 is also in the works or may be out already. They have controllers and are very reasonably priced.

Oops! I was going to have two of each. I was just looking at these because they are the only ones available to me.

In reality, even softies love flow and light. The higher flow keeps detritus from settling on them in the case of things like toadstools. My 65g softy tank will have two MP10s on it, and depending on how the scape works out, there might be another power head or two to get rid of any possible dead spots.
