Need help reading mag test kit from red sea

Before I posted this I went to youtube and saw how its done. What confuses me is the reading those guys are reading. The numbers off their syringe is different from what I am witnessing.

Judging by the plunger its at 0.5 or should it be something else? that's what it looks like from the red sea video on youtube.

0.5 is correct.
The confusing part is the way the chart is read.
You are easy 50/50
If you read 30 the chart is figured on 70 ( the amount used)
