any advice on moving a tank with coral attached to a rock wall. I was planning a tank and am making a rock wall for my tank, but I might be moving in the next year. Id hate to ruin the rock wall by chiseling the coral off of it, but is that the only way it can be done?

Plan for the future. Get some 1" + frag disks and glue them to the wall and then glue the frags to the disks. That way you can remove the disk and coral and not damage the wall of rock.

depending on how long the move might take, as long as you keep them moist, they will do just fine for a short period of time. I've had to redo plumbing, water changes, and power outages that have left corals exposed ( the longest for me was approx 24hrs) and I just had a spray bottle and misted them from time to time. Some corals in the wild are exposed to full sun, at low tides.
