Kenya trees taking over

Just wondering the best way to remove Kenya trees. They are literally taking over my tank and brushing up against my frogspawn/mushrooms/leathers and irritating them. Can i just use scissors or a razor and cut them out, or will that release toxins?

Cut them as close to the rock as you can then use coral putty to cover the remaining stump. This is how I got rid of my Xenia & none ever grew back!

If you cut them they will grow back. The best way if possible is to get underneath them with your fingernail and try to pry them off.

i feel terrible, haha. This wont release any toxins? I guess i could bring them to my LFS so i dont have to kill them off completely.
