Well this fish is about 10 days in quarantine for 2 days he developed a lump in my mouth which I observe him and begins to cause discomfort has diminished his desire to eat something is small yet

E sought information that could be but can not find anything specific, since no visible symptom that I agree, just the package and the dwindled a bit like eating

A friend of mine has a butterfly that had a similar situation. It was in a QT and she dosed Nitrofurazone. Also be sure to feed food soaked in garlic, Selcon or Zoecon or some sort of vitamin. Her fish quit eating for a couple of days so she put the Selcon in the water. He's now doing very well back in the main tank.

thank you very much for your answers, which would be the best way to use nitrofurazone

I've had good luck with National Fish Pharmecuedicals Nitrofurican Green Powder. Usually any of the Nitro products will state directions for use.

The fish may have bumped into the glass while chasing it's own reflection or simply due to the limited qt dimensions and developed a small infection. Sometimes taping paper to the sides of the glass helps.

It's good there's no redness, I too recommend NFG especially if the lump is interfering with eating.

What are you feeding it?
