Hey all I've been out of the hobby for a few years. Any suggestions for a decent in sump skimmer for a 60g? Looking to fit it in a 10g.

A 10 gallon is tight. A sea side aquatics cs5.5 is a decent skimmer. Make sure your water level in the 10 gallon sump will be high enough for whatever skimmer you get.

you should get a 29 gallon high for your sump. fits under 60 perfectly and allows for extra space. also, SRO internal 1000 is what I have on 60 cube and very happy.

Do you mean 20 high? Couldn't find any reference to a 29 high.

Anyway, the 20 high is 24" long so it'll stick out the back a tad but no big deal. I have a RO NWB110 for my build that will fit the 20 high.

I was actually planning on hooking 2 10g's together. 1 for the fuge and the other would house the skimmer/heaters ect. I think I can fit them side by side.

t1000 aquamedic. same design as when you left the hobby, still works great.

I considered that as well but it just takes so much real estate. I considered stacking them too. Now I'm using them for mixing tanks lol! The 20 high just makes it simpler IMO. Good luck whichever way you go though!
