Aquarium lights set at 14k.

the coral looks very dark. I would not be satisfied after 2 years with this result.

That has to do with his camera settings. I'm sure his tank is not that dark. Taking darker pics adds visual appeal, and you don't wash out the colors as much. From first hand experience taking pics under different kinds of lighting, taking pics of LEDs is darn near impossible. When I take a pic of my halide tank, its point and shoot, and pics look amazing. With LEDs, you have to fuss a lot.

That said, what is the purpose of hating on this thread?

Dave,

Keep us posted on the new frag tank!

I bought two new tanks. Both are 48x20x12. Lights are over them now.
