Hi all

Sorry I exchanged wrong, its 900+ gallons.

A friend of mine just added a pair of catsharks into his mixed reef of 700g. He added them yesterday and they are doing fine ao far. As they are the first sharks he ever kept and he has no experience he would be happy if you have some tipps and tricks.

Here the pics.

dejong marinelife sent the sharks:

Just a heads up, those guys are nocturnal. They love to hide in tight spots and push over loose rock/coral wiggling into places so they can rest. They are very messy eaters and might cause water quality issues down the line unless lots of water changes or major filtration is involved.

Other than that, coral catsharks are awesome choices for home size aquaria.

I would look into a vitamin specifically for elasmobranchs, Goiter is a problem with sharks in captivity. Secure those rocks and corals. Were they dewormed/defluked before intro to the display?
