Pic of new mantis. Can anyone identify sex from this pic? I know it is not the best pic but the little bugger moves like lightning. Hard not to get a blurry pic. This was the least blurry.

Sex is easiest to determine if you can provide a picture of where the boy parts are (or aren't).

The boy parts are two sticks arranged in a \ / shape, they are located right by the rear pair of walking legs, in front of the swimmer fins... Here's a pic.

It's probably easier for you to see them than to get a good picture of them. If you don't see them, it's probably a girl.
