Calcium and alk test help please

Ok so I tested my alk 2 days ago and it was at 9.3 . Today I got home and one of my corals just striped completely. Checked the alk and Cal and alk was at 7.6 and Cal was in the 200s! I'm using a red sea test kit. Only thing I added new was the brs dosers but I can't understand the significant drop in 2 days. Can this happen?

A drop of less than 2 dKH in two days is actually fairly slow. My tanks consumed 2-3 dKH per day with no stony corals or clams, just due to coralline growth. I'm not sure that I believe the calcium result yet, but your tank might need daily dosing at this point.

I think my tank just kicked in.fairley new tank. All I have is sps. So I think I am gonna have to dose daily also.
